![]() Keith Kolbo Keith Kolbo, is recently best known for his short subject films and large orchestral soundtracks for attractions and museums produced world wide while working for ITEC Productions®. The whole history actually spans over 25 years and includes more than 15 years of entertainment production with the Walt Disney Company. He has been developing for the web since the start of the 90’s The Disney years included shows on land, on water, underwater, and in the air. It was at Disney that Keith was introduced to producing corporate and industrial video. In the early 90?s, when Web site development was all hand coded, Keith was on the leading edge of Web development and personally developed governmental and commercial Web sites. It was in 1996 that Keith joined ITEC Productions. Among his other responsibilities there, he worked as supervising or executive producer on three major short films; The Journey Begins for the National Science Center's Fort Discovery, which won the prestigious International Tele-production Society's Monitor Award for special effects and animation, The Golden City for The St. Michael’s Mystery in Prague, and The Seed of Promise for the Holy Land Experience in Orlando. Orchestral sound tracks and voice scripts were also a specialty of Keith's. While at ITEC, Keith saw the development of desktop production techniques come into reality. Knowing that it would bring video production to a much larger segment of business, he embraced it from the beginning. For ITEC, he used desktop production techniques to create promotional, marketing, and documentation videos. In June 2002 Keith Kolbo opened Keith Kolbo Digital Desktop Production. Corporate, broadcast and documentary video as well as CD-ROM, DVD and Web development are became available with his special touch and the economies of Digital Desktop Production.
He has become involved in training for professionals as well. Besides live training, VASST released his DVD on advanced DVD authoring techniques, "Deeper into DVD Architect" a part of VASST's Absolute Training series for Sony's Vegas + DVD. This site is an extension of his love for helping professionals and educators. It is hoped that this site will provide information and discussion that will make a few folks' lives easier in the middle of the night. |
